This book describes techniques for designing complex, discrete-time DeltaSigma ADCs with signal-transfer functions that significantly filter interfering signals. The book provides an understanding of theory, issues, and implementation of discrete complex DeltaSigma ADCs. The concepts developed in each chapter are further explained by applying them to a target application of DeltaSigma ADCs in DTV receivers.
Focusing on complex delta-sigma ADCs, this book describes techniques to alleviate problems in implementation, such as image rejection deterioration due to mismatches. It also covers the advantages of filtering STFs and sets out an implementation architecture.
