Woman need to find a comfortable balance between the kitchen and work place. For women the situation gets even trickier as their responsibilities include having to be homemakers, wives and professionals all rolled into one, as well. The pressure to balance is more on women than on men in India. This research has been undertaken to know their organizational, psychological problems, family issues due to IT profession, and the satisfaction level of women employees with regard to their dual role. A survey was conducted. The majority of the respondents were neither satisfied nor unsatisfied in their role as house wife and as working women. There was emotional detachment in the family, frustration due to dominance of male superior and had unsolved work problems that disturbed them even after working hours, disintegration, lack of support and communication with family and others were the problems mentioned by working women. The real sufferers are the children who grow up in a situation with uncared love and attention. This book therefore brings light on the sufferings of women with multiple roles and their problems.
